Johmel Igao showcased his all-around game as VisMin squeak past Pampanga and extend their winning streak to three

SINGAPORE – VisMin had a slow start but came up with a solid finish in a 83-74 rout against undermanned Pampanga in the Gilas Basketball 2017 Inter-Town Tournament at West Spring Secondary School sponsored by GB Sports LLP and Sneakers Club.

Vismin was trailing by 3-points in the end of the first quarter.

After trailing early in the game, Vismin made a strong run in the third to retake the lead, 61-58. They also counter every run made by Pampanga in the final period to keep their lead and secure the victory in this game.

Johmel Igao showed the way for VisMin with 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 5 assists and registered 2 steals.

Eial Kenn Rebosura came up with 15 points, 8 assists and 2 boards while fellow starter Isidore Adlawan added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists for VisMin, who extend their winning streak to three and improved to 3-0 in win-loss card.

Vismin dominated the battle of the boards, 53-33. As a result of their dominance in the rebounding department, Vismin outscored Pampanga ins second chance points, 19-6.

Ronald Calma led Pampanga with a double-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks.

Allan Limpin had 19 points and 2 assists while Aldrin Guiao posted a double-double of 14 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assist for Pampanga, who absorbed their first loss and fall to 3-1 in win-loss card.
