Griffins took advantage of the undermanned Kings

U6 Cup Season 4 – This was a battle of top teams in the on going U6 Cup playoffs. Both teams playing with similar styles.

Griffins playing with their vaunted small ball brand of play went to pressure the Kings backcourt. Bobet Carido scored 18 points and managed to provide the necessary hustle plays to ease his team’s offensive game plan.

For the Kings, Joel Nadala carried the scoring with 18 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Mark Quiambao added 16 points and 15 boards as well.

The second half was a different story as the ever reliable Mharl Haresco delivered and caught fire with 30 points with an array of moves. Fast break points was key for the Griffins to grab the early advantage  to advance in the winner’s bracket of the playoffs. Griffins 69 – Boonlay Kings 62.
